Getetec is your competent partner in the field of model-based systems engineering for software-intensive networked electrical/electronic architectures in the automotive and industrial automation sectors. We support you in the introduction of model-based systems engineering methods, e.g. based on SysML notation or the E/E engineering solution PREEvision (© Vector Informatik GmbH). We have many years of experience, especially in large distributed engineering environments with several hundred workstations, and can support you from the manufacturer-independent evaluation through the introduction and operation of model-based E/E engineering tools. We also support company ITs with the introduction of the 3-tier environment (with a focus on PREEvision).

Our consulting services also include the analysis of development processes or the elaboration and establishment of modeling guidelines in the customer-specific development methods.

Markus Kühl is Managing Director and consultant. He is a graduate engineer (TH) in electrical engineering from the University of Karlsruhe in 1997. From 1998 to 2002 he worked as a research associate at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Information Processing Technology with a focus on model-based design of distributed embedded systems as part of a DFG priority program. He moved to the department management of the department ESM (Electronic Systems and  Microsystems) FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik, where he worked on the study of the so-called architecture concept tool in cooperation with the industrial partner Daimler AG from the end of 2003. In 2005 he founded the company aquintos GmbH together with his former business partner Dr. Clemens Reichmann on the basis of this preparatory work. In 2007, the product PREEvision was launched worldwide (© Vector Informatik).

From 2007 to 2011 Markus Kühl headed the Field Application Engineering Team of aquintos GmbH in numerous projects for customers in the automotive industry. In the years 2009 until his move to Dr. Ing. h.c. Porsche AG in 2011, he was deputy head of the PPT department at Vector Informatik GmbH.

From 2011 to 2016 Markus Kühl worked for Porsche AG as a domain architect for electric mobility. From 2016 until the founding of Getetec GmbH in 2019, he developed and managed the use of the PREEvision tool as Head of Model-Based E/E Architecture Development at Porsche AG.  Until his leave in June 2019, he also held the role of Group Manager for the PREEvision tool and lead responsibility in the functional architecture area of the VW Group.
